Tuppenny Barn Organics Ltd
is a 2 acre certified organic smallholding situated in Southbourne, West Sussex.
The project is committed to investing in our local community by growing vegetables, fruit, herbs, cut flowers,vegetables and plants for local people. We are dedicated to growing high quality, affordable organic produce and sell it at local farmers markets, weekly farm gate sales and via our veg bag scheme.
We actively try to promote our sustainable working practises to encourage others to work with nature. We have schools visiting to see first-hand how a green and ethical smallholding project can give them ideas for their own outdoor classroom activities.

Friday 13 February | Whisky and Chocolate Evening | 7pm / 2 hours

Celebrate Valentines with a match made in heaven! Local chef and whiskey lover Rosemary Moon will host the evening where we can taste wonderful single malt whiskies and locally made chocolate. Includes a light supper.

Celebrating local wildlife and nature photography competition

An exciting new photography competition for children living in the Parishes of Southbourne, Chidham and Hambrook is being organised by Responsible Photography, Tuppenny Barn and the Parishes Community Wildlife Officer.   The launch is at 11.00am on Saturday 3rd May at Tuppenny Barn,  when children can collect an entry form and join a workshop for photo tips and inspiration.

Entry forms will also be available from local schools, churches and businesses. There are three different age groups and any photo taking device can be used - a camera, phone or an ipad. The Judges will be looking for photographs that capture the essence of our local nature and wildlife. The closing date is 21st June and winners will be announced at Tuppenny Barn on 13th July.
