At the Public Meeting held on 28th February at St Wilfrid’s many residents opposed the Local Plan ‘preferred option’ of 500 houses being built in Chidham, Hambrook and Nutbourne over the period 2020 to 2035. This meeting is for residents who agree, to decide what action to take in order to campaign against the imposition of this number of houses.

After a brief AGM the Guest Speaker will be Canon David Nason who will tell us about his fascinating and varied life entitled ‘From Pedagogue to Preacher’. Now living in Hambrook, he is well known for his entertaining and erudite talks. Please come along, have a cup of coffee, some home-made cake and, of course, join in the raffle.
