Chidham & Hambrook parish council is in the process of reviewing its local neighbourhood plan. This is an important document that needs local input from those living in Chidham, Hambrook and Nutbourne East as it would make clear what kind of developments will be acceptable, permissible and what we should reject. In particular, the review will be directed towards future housing developments, the need for a local retail centre, leisure facilities, improved local transport and how we can protect our local countryside and open spaces. If you wish to be involved in the Review of our local Neighbourhood Plan, an open meeting is being held in the Chidham Village Hall on Thursday 22nd November at 7pm.
