First Aid Talk and Demonstration training session 21/04/2020, 19:00-21:00 at the Village Hall. This training session is open to all residents and is funded by the Parish Council. An Ash Tree on the edge of the green at the top of Chidham Lane was suffering from several different defects and was unsafe as a result.. It had been attacked by a tree fungus Inonotus hispidus (More about this fungus here)

Monday afternoon’s tide at noon (Feb 10th) will be higher than normal due to Storm Ciara forecast Force 7 westerly winds. The weather increases tide table values by 0.54 m. The total forecast tide is 5.50 metres Chart Datum (2.76 mAOD) at Chichester Harbour. High tides, large waves and the risk of flooding will remain similar until Thursday Feb 13 see flood alerts
