After a brief AGM the Guest Speaker will be Steve Tanner who will talk about genealogy and how to go about investigating your lineage. There’ll be lots of slides. Please come along, have a cup of coffee, some home-made cake and, of course, join in the raffle. We expect to finish at mid-day. Saturday March 17, 10.30am, ‘Paddington Two’ Unaccompanied adults welcomed
The work party planned for Saturday Morning (Mar 3) is cancelled because of the weather.
As you will probably be aware by now Father Paul is retiring in April and he and Zena will be leaving Chidham. For the last 5 years they have run the Seals playgroup and without their stewardship the group will be unable to continue in its current form.
To give both them and Seals a celebratory send off we are organising a pop in play session for all the families that have been involved in the group. Please feel free to pop in whenever you can during the two hours to say hello, have a play and a drink.
Donations of cakes or nibbles would be much appreciated.
(Please note this will replace the session on 9th Feb and the session on 2nd is cancelled due to frozen pipes)

Alex and Kellie are our new hosts at The Barleycorn. They want to make The Barleycorn a real community pub. Come and meet them on Saturday evening for a great evening. A special welcome from 6pm and singer Heidi-Pearl Chandler will be singing some Country and some Rock and Roll, at 8.30pm.
Imogen is doing a ‘car wash’ in the car park of St Wilfrids Church hall on Saturday 17th February between 11am and 2pm. Tea and coffee will also be available. She is raising money to go to Tanzania with Bishop Luffa and Grassroots; https://www.grassroots.org.uk/tanzania/ The cost of a car wash and a chamois will be £6.
